I would like to take this time to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year..........I want to also thank you for bieng followers and leaving me comments as you all do:)) I hope after christmas i will have more time to get back into blogging daily as i really do miss it a bunch.....

I have not been blogging lately.....I have been so busy with getting things ready for christmas and my hubby gonna have surgery and my daughter having false labor.....Yeah tell me about it.....I plan on taking time out tonight and tomorrow to do some catching up with all my followers and giveaways.....cuz me....I love to win things:)) Hope everyone has a great evening:)

~My 1st Christmas Meme~

1. Does your family send Christmas cards? I usually buy them, fill them out and then never put a stamp on them......lol i am so bad when it comes to that!

2. How soon do you start shopping?: I am a last minute shopper:)

3. Who do you shop for?: Kids, Husband and my mother

4. Do you put up a Christmas tree?:Yes always.....Gotta have a tree!

5. If so, is it fake or real?: Fake but pretty

6. Do you like tinsel?: Nope it's too messy

7. Do you use homemade or store bought ornaments?: Store bought and homemade...like ones the kids have made or something

8. Do you put Christmas lights outside your house?:Well i use to but this year no im not..next year i will!

9. Do you put lights on the tree?: yes

10. How about popcorn and cranberries?: nope

11. Is there a wreath hanging on your door?: not this year

13. Do you hang up your stocking?: yes

14. Does your family read "Twas the night before Christmas?": Nope....but that is a good idea..think i might grab a good christmas story to read on christmas eve

15. Christmas Movie?: Nightmare before Christmas....I love it!

18. Christmas Memory: any of them... I LOVE Christmas

26. Were you Naughty or Nice this year?: I think i was nice..except for the time....Oh I shouldn' be telling you that :))lol

27. What do you want for Christmas this year?: For my kids to have a good one!

28. When do you open your gifts?: Usually let them open one on christmas eve then open the rest on christmas morning:)

29. What's the best gift you've ever gotten?: all of them

30. What's the worst gift you've ever gotten?: uhmmm... nothing comes to mind

31. Who gives you the most gifts?: Well Santa of course

32. Have you ever had a secret Santa?: When i was working i did...

33. Do you like wrapping gifts?: love to!!

34. Do you put change in those red buckets?:
Yes sometimes i do..but since my mother n law worked for the salvation army and when she was diagnosed with cancer they turned there back on her and lied about alot of things....denied her insurance and so forth....so no more do i give to them!

35. Do you burn a yule log?: Nope

36. Can you name all the reindeer?: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Cupid, Comet, Donner, and Blitzen... and Rudolph, of course (and no, I didn't have to Google)

37. Do you bake cookies?: yes

38. Have you ever seen your mommy kissing Santa Clause?: unfortunately, no

39. Have you ever gotten a kiss under the mistletoe?: yes

41. Do you drive around and look at the Christmas lights?: one of my very favorite things to do

42. Have you ever left Santa cookies?: sure do evey year:)

43. Have you ever sat on Santa's lap?: sure have

44. Who do you celebrate Christmas with?: with my family

45. Where do you celebrate Christmas?: with my family,

46. Have you ever had a white Christmas?: almost always

47. What part of Christmas do you look most forward to?: I love the decorations and seeing the kids face when they open there gifts:)

48. Have you ever had your picture taken with Santa?: I don't remember seeing any

~WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING~WHAT I'M GOING TO DO~

Alright! I confess...I have been slacking when it comes to blogging here at City Girl Gone Country:) Why you ask.....well I have been busy entering into all the great giveaways out there in the bloggy world:-)Wish me luck cuz I wanna win something:))

I have recently started up a Book Blog since I love to read and there are alot of people out there that have them....now to me I love the idea of reading a book and then reviewing about it on my blog so everyone out there gets an idea of what the book was about and so forth...you get the picture! So with that note....
I'm here now....I'm trying to find my organizational skills and put them together so I can do more than one thing at a time.....(giggles)

For today....Im awake but half asleep! My daughter has to go for her glucose test today because she is almost 29 weeks pregnant and they said it had to be done in a certian time frame.......and that takes over an hour.....Which is fine cuz I plan on taking my book to give me something to do:)) Then to the grocery I gotta go....were out of everything....usually it's not like that but it happens!! Tonight dinner is ....Not sure yet:)

The kids school work is going good....well it could be better and once those organizational skills kick in I think it will get better!!:)

The weather:) Wow....I can't believe it's December 1st and we have had no snow:-)Well we had a few frost but not really snow~snow.....Which makes me think...when we do get it...it's gonna hit us hard i believe! I would love to have a white christmas....wouldn't you? Well for the ones that live in states that do get snow.....the other people that never get snow........your not missing much:))lol
It is beautiful but the cold is what gets me......

Well i reckon I will close this for now and go get ready for my adventurous day:)lol

Well I would have to say never.....I have only flown twice and it was for my fathers surgeries....Never for a holiday!

2. What is your fondest birthday memory?
Oh wow.....I really only remeber one and that is when my family tricked me on my 13th birthday and acted like they forgot about me and i was asked to babysit and i said yes,,,,then when i got to my sisters to watch her son....they were all there and had me a surprise party:0

3. What names do you go by?
Mom, Joanna, Jo-Jo and can't forget the famous one...Hey you!

4. What do you look forward to most in the next six weeks?
I am looking forward to having a good christmas this year!

5. Where is your least favorite place to be, and why?
In the city...because i have lived in the country for a while now and i can't stand crowds of people and traffic.......Im a road rager:))

6. Have you ever had a scary stalker type?No i don't think i have or well i hope i don't

7. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Don't really have one.

8. What are two activities you do after eating Thanksgiving Dinner?
Sit and watch football and take a nap

We never did anything fancy...Just cook, eat and visit with one another....and watch football:)

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to relaxing and reading.....(because i have signed up for the Thanksgiving Challenge Reading Weekend:)) tomorrow my plans include catching up on cleaning and laundry on Sunday, I want to _relax and enjoy time with family before the week starts back up!

I just wanted to say Thank You to all my followers:) I have finally reached 100! YIP~EEEEEEE:) I'm excited....I just started blogging in October and I am totally addicted and I love it:))

BEHIND

Yeah I admit it:) I am behind....I signed up for the Vintage Christmas Monday and I didnt' get my chance to post mine..WHY..Well I'm glad you asked! I had a busy monday that i didn't plan on having....My husband had to be off to work by 5am....which i get him up and ready by 4am....Then my daughter had her Ob/Prenatal Appt at 8am..so I decided to just stay awake....then her glucose sugar test was scheduled and that takes an hour after you drink it.....Well by the time we got home it was 1pm......Yeah along freakn morning at the dr.s office. I was very pleased with myself though i didn't go crazy....lol
Then it was time for school work....which by this time I didn't feel like doing nothing but going to bed......so After the kids got work started I had to lay down.....well as tired as I was you would have thought i could've slept all night.....NOT!! I couldn't even fall asleep......GGGRRRRRRR!!!!!yeah im ready to scream by now...BUT! I didn't well atleast not at that moment..lol
So dinner time was approaching faster than i wanted but I had to feed my family:)) Yeah I know im just so thoughtful and nice...lol really I am!
So My husband was late getting in from work......which just made my flame alittle bigger......anywhooo!!!!
The night time has come......I didn't get a chance to do anything on my agenda....but that is alright! Time is not everything:)) well atleast not all the time!!!!
So....It's time to settle in and BAM.....My husband needs something from walmart! WTH!!!!It's 10pm.....Mind I live in the country which is 30 minutes from town:( So off to venture at walmart for a few things......I return at around 11:30pm.....
By this time i'm pretty much sleep walking.....yeah i even drove with my eyes closed....just joking!

Alright so now it's bedtime.....but the downside of it is it's freakn midnight and I gotta get up with the husband in 4hrs......
Well that was my day.....sorry to bore ya but hey believe me ....IT WAS NO WHERE NEAR BORING ON MY SIDE:))
