♥~My CountDown Day #9~♥

Ok so I'm doing this countdown thing just to give me some experience in the blog world and also because I love Halloween:) Today my favorite thing about Halloween is

the candy! Oh I love me some candy corn, i always grab me a bag when i make a trip to wally world:) When my kids were younger i didn't have to buy candy because they got way too much trick~or~treating but now that they do not go and they are just way to old for trick~or~treating (so they say)haha...I go out and buy my own. I usually try to keep a dish of it around the house, now when i say dish i don't necessarily mean it's full all the time:))(blushes)!! I know it's not good for me while i'm trying to start a diet but oh.....it's just so tempting I can't resist..lol

On my adventure to find things to blog about on my countdown to halloween i came upon 10 Interesting Halloween Facts:
1.The next full moon on Halloween night will be October 31, 2020
2.The first "Jack-O-Lanterns" were not pumpkins - they were hollowed-out turnips and originated in Ireland.

Well decorating them that is. I have always loved to carve them as a child and the truth is I still do. I love to carve the faces and get my hands all slimy with the insides and the seeds:)and then to watch the kids do there own and take pride in there work. To light the candle and then place them outside to show off for everyone to see......That is why i love pumpkins!
But after blog hopping at "A Fanciful Twist" Halloween Party the other day I came upon a blog with the cutest and the coolest pumpkins i have ever seen.
So this weekend coming up were going to go get our pumpkins......No i'm not giving up our tradition of getting all slimy and lighting the candle...that will always remain that way, but I do want to try this out:) Try i say...(giggles)I will be sure to post pictures of my Pumpkin Experience......These pumpkins came:

I love pumpkin roll.:) I learned how to make them last year and i made so many we got burnt out on them.....(laughing loud)!!

The record for the fastest pumpkin carver in the world is Jerry Ayers of Baltimore, Ohio. He carved a pumpkin in just 1 minute and 37 seconds!

I am thinking~Of my sick Mother~N~Law that is sick with cervical cancer!

I am thankful for~Having heat this time of year..it's cold here in OHIO

I am wearing~My grey~n~white OHIO STATE tee with my black pants...and a pair of socks:)

I am remembering~A time when my oldest was out at the barn and a cow scared him and we all just laughed so hard:))

I am going~to get a shower and get ready for bed..i have been staying up way tolate!

I am reading~a book i got from the library, um....it's called SHANGHAI GIRLS/by Lisa See

I am hoping~to have our phone back on really soon! off for technical reasons..grrrr!!

On my mind~My daughter that is away for the night.....she is pregnant and i worry about her being away from me....I want to be there always to protect her.

Noticing that~My 15 yr young son has really gotten taller and is getting muscles....Oh No my baby is growing up:))

Around the house~nothing much..were watching a movie together tonight and dinner was a bowl of cereal for me...I said eat whatever night tonight:))

What is the main thing that makes you unique? Just being me....I'm one of akind and i would have to say "my goofiness":)

What is your biggest fear or worry? My biggest fear would have to be leaving my children in this crazy world when it's my time to go! And my biggest worry is "MONEY"....wether we have enough or not enough:)

♥~Midnight Moment~♥

I have spent all day at a Magical Halloween Blog Party over @ "A Fanciful Twist". I had a Fang~Tastic time visiting everyones Halloween Party Blogs. I can tell that everyone put great time into them and it shows well:) As for me, i had like one day to get it together so it's not long, but hey I tried:) I have read Halloween Story after story, seen pictures after pictures and plenty of yummy desserts, black cats, witches, spiders, pumpkins and skeletons. You name it, if it has to do with Halloween i seen it today! I had such a blast! My head is spinning, my eyes are burning and not to mention my bottom is sore from the broom riding:)) As I lay my head down tonight i'm fearful of having nightmares about the cutest Halloween Blog @ Just Add Glitter And Stir/ http://Katamommydamacy.blogspot.com

As far as the rest of my day it went so slow, i'm thinking because the weather. It has me all cooped up inside all the time.....because i don't like the cold! But im not lost because i have you...all my fellow bloggers! I'm so glad that i decided to join the Blogging World!!!! About this time last night i was searching through blogs and reading them and i felt something crawling on my leg, OMG! I reached down inside my sweat pants and grabbed something....lol...well it wasnt' funny at the time! I threw it before i even looked at it..IT WAS A SPIDER....Don't ask me how it got there cuz i have no clue..so NOTE TO SELF:Check pants thourghly before putting them on.
